Abstract:
      Ananalytical formula of the vorticity forcing having the like dipole form is putforward. By using a quasigeostrophic barotropic model, eightexperiments whose integration times equal to 36 model days were performed. Results show that the vorticity forcing can creat local folw patterns with the space scale being about 3000 km, and the time scale being more than 30 model days. In the formation process of the patterns, the energy dispersion plays a leading role. The local flow patterns have stabilities for the intensity perturbation and the locational perturbation, respectively.
