      差分反射率(ZDR)弧表示超级单体风暴中前侧入流区域弧状的大值区,差分相移率(KDP)足则表示风暴核心顺切变方向大值区。超级单体风暴中的ZDR弧及ZDR弧—KDP足分离特征已被证实为风暴中粒子“分选机制”的重要示踪因子,并且ZDR弧和KDP足质心连线和分离角与低层入流和风暴相对螺旋度相关性较好。为快速识别足及弧并提取ZDR弧—KDP足分离特征,运用其指示意义提升极端大风和冰雹的预报能力。基于经典概念模型和机器学习方法,利用华东地区S波段双偏振雷达资料,进行了KDP足和ZDR弧的自动识别算法设计,并计算了ZDR弧—KDP足质心距离和分离角。而后针对华东地区4次超级单体过程,结合地面自动观测资料验证了KDP足及ZDR弧识别结果及定量化计算效果。结果显示:设计的方法能够准确识别出超级单体风暴中的KDP足和ZDR弧,ZDR弧—KDP足质心距离和分离角的变化也可在一定程度上指示极端大风的发生。
英文摘要:
      Differential reflectivity (ZDR) arc is known as an arc-shaped region of high differential reflectivity along the inflow edge of the forward flank, while a downshear elongated KDP maximum near echo centerline of the storm if known as KDP foot. The ZDR arc and the horizontal separation between this area of ZDR arc and KDP foot has been confirmed as the signatures of hydrometeor size sorting within their forward flank regions in supercell storms. Recent work has indicated that ZDR arc and ZDR arc- KDP foot separation signatures in supercell storms may be related to environmental storm-relative helicity and low-level shear. Based on the conception model and machine learning, the recognition algorithm of KDP foot and ZDR arc is designed, then the separation and angle of ZDR arc and KDP foot is calculated. The recognition effect and qualified calculation are examined with the S band polarimetric radar and auto weather station by four supercell storms occurred in east China. The results show : the recognition method introduced can identity ZDR arc and KDP foot correctly, the variation of ZDR arc— KDP foot centroid distance and separation angle can indicate the occurrence of extreme gust.
